Yacht Deliveries
We have the experience to deliver all kinds of boats whether power or sail to any destination in the Mediterranean and whatever the requirements, our approach is always meticulous and thorough, but above all, professional.
We give special attention to detail. We take time to work with clients in understanding their expectations and on planning the trip.
During the passage your boat is sailed conservatively at all times so that any wear and tear is kept to an absolute minimum.
Owners are welcome to join the crew for all delivery trips. On completion of all deliveries we provide a detailed assessment of the vessel and its systems so that owners have a complete picture of their boat’s condition and are able to immediately take into consideration any repairs or modifications that may be necessary.

Winterizing & Preparation
Winterizing of your boat will not only maintain its value and appearance but will prevent expensive and potentially dangerous mechanical failure.
- Depending on the type of boat winterizing can include:
- Flushing engines raw water cooling system with fresh water.
- Check engine cooling system for correct strength of coolant mix and adjust as needed.
- Coat all exposed parts with anti-corrosion spray.
- With petrol engines drain fuel system and carburettors.
- Check and drain water from water separators and filters.
- Lubricating the engine cylinders/piston rings.
- Add fuel stabilizing additive.
- Testing all electrical systems.
- Fully charging/removing batteries.
- Drain all fresh water and heating systems.
- Power washing hull to remove all marine growth.
- Removing all food, cleaning and removing cushions & seating.
- Protecting the hull from UV by polishing/waxing.
- Checking function and security of all boat cover fastenings.
- Ensuring adequate ventilation to reduce condensation.
- Dry out and clean bilges.
Depending upon where and how the boat is kept will depend upon the level of winterizing you will need.

Provisioning and Preparation
Let us know when you plan to go cruising and we can arrange to have your vessel prepared and ready for your arrival.
We can stock with food, fuel and fresh water and make sure everything is working and in a seaworthy condition.
We can clean and valet your boat so, upon arrival, you can spend your time cruising, not doing chores.
If you need your boat moved, for example to another marina , we can deliver your boat for you as we are experienced yacht masters[Kristabel2] and boat skippers.
Additionally we can, not only deliver your boat for you, but we can take care of provisions and preparatopm so your boat will be ready to go when you arrive.
We are more than happy to quote on single jobs or a range of regular work. Any of our services can be modified to incorporate any specific requirements or even used for short periods, for example holiday cover .

Boat Care & Guardianage
We specialize in the tailored guardianage and care of your yacht or powerboat when you cannot be there.
We are very aware how harsh the marine environment is and how constant vigilance is needed to maintain your valuable boat in first class condition. Left unattended, small problems can become serious issues very quickly.
Craft Care will look after your boat while you are away and ensure it is maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition, at your marina, on a swing mooring, at anchor or on land.
At Craft Care we believe that a regular, comprehensive program of inspection will provide the care and preventative maintenance necessary to maintain your boat’s condition, value, appearance and peace of mind.
Even if you maintain your boat yourself, we can provide short term cover, during holiday periods, for example.
We will respond to emergency situations, particularly during bad weather and our services can be customized to your specific requirements. Also your harbour or marina will have a second contact point if the need arises.
In addition to regular guardianage inspections, we also carry out servicing, repairs, installation, replacement of equipment, underwater inspections, provisioning and other services to keep your vessel in first class condition and ready for use.

Yacht Registration
As part of the registration process you will need to provide a Tonnage Measurement Survey carried out by a member of a recognised classification society – check with your surveyor when drawing up your survey specification. Finally, in order to prove title or ownership of the vessel you will need a Builders Certificate in the case of a new yacht, or a notarised Bill of Sale in the case of a pre-owned yacht.
