Yacht Registration

As part of the registration process you will need to provide a Tonnage Measurement Survey carried out by a member of a recognised classification society – check with your surveyor when drawing up your survey specification. Finally, in order to prove title or ownership of the vessel you will need a Builders Certificate in the case of a new yacht, or a notarised Bill of Sale in the case of a pre-owned yacht.

Boat Care & Guardianage

We specialize in the tailored guardianage and care of your yacht or powerboat when you cannot be there.

We are very aware how harsh the marine environment is and how constant vigilance is needed to maintain your valuable boat in first class condition. Left unattended, small problems can become serious issues very quickly.

MS Marine will look after your boat while you are away and ensure it is maintained in a safe and seaworthy condition, at your marina, on a swing mooring, at anchor or on land.

At MS Marine we believe that a regular, comprehensive program of inspection will provide the care and preventative maintenance necessary to maintain your boat’s condition, value, appearance and peace of mind.

Even if you maintain your boat yourself, we can provide short term cover, during holiday periods, for example.

We will respond to emergency situations, particularly during bad weather and our services can be customized to your specific requirements. Also your harbour or marina will have a second contact point if the need arises.

In addition to regular guardianage inspections, we also carry out servicing, repairs, installation, replacement of equipment, underwater inspections, provisioning and other services to keep your vessel in first class condition and ready for use.
